Sesame glutinous rice balls
Ingredients
- Glutinous rice flour 150g
- Warm water 115g
- Black sesame 100g
- White sugar 50g
- Butter 50g
Steps
1. Saute black sesame seeds until fragrant, let cool, and put into mixing container
2. Stir the sesame powder with a mixing bowl at low speed.
3. Stir in white sugar and stir in liquefied butter (weigh the butter and melt it in water), mix well and put it in the refrigerator.
4. Take out the refrigerated sesame filling before making, divide it into about 15g each, roll it into a round shape, and freeze it for 15 minutes to set.
5. Weigh the glutinous rice flour.
6. Add warm water to the glutinous rice flour in a circular motion and knead into a ball.
7. Take 20g and roll it into a ball. Hold the glutinous rice ball with your left hand and use your right thumb toPress into the dough and roll it around with your index finger to form a small bowl shape.
8. Take out the frozen sesame balls, fill them into a small bowl of glutinous rice, hold it with your left hand, and use your right hand to rotate it little by little to close it.
9. Close the mouth into a small cone shape and pinch off a little bit of powder on the head.
10. Roll the edge downwards into a round shape.
11. Boil water in a pot, add glutinous rice balls after the water boils, bring to a boil over high heat, push gently with a wooden spatula a few times until the glutinous rice balls float.
