After the cod is thawed, marinate it with fine salt and cooking wine on both sides for about 15 minutes.Step 3
1 tablespoon oyster sauce, 3 tablespoons steamed fish soy sauce, mix well. (household spoon size is standard)Step 4

Heat hot water in a pot. When the water boils, add cod and steam for 5 minutes until cooked.Step 7
After the fish is steamed, take it out of the pan. Pour the soy sauce on the fish and lay on top of the scallions. It’s not ready yet. There’s still one last step left to complete.Step 8
Heat oil in a pot. When the oil is hot, add bay leaves, aniseed, and cinnamon. Make sure the heat is low until the oil is 80% hot. Fry the spices until fragrant and take them out.Step 9
