Braised Tofu with Chives
Ingredients
- Spring first-crop leeks 150g
- Hard tofu 400g
- Little red pepper 8 pieces
- Whole peppercorns 20 pieces
Steps
1. First cut the tofu into thin slices of about 5mm, cover the tofu with cold water, add whole peppercorns, chili peppers, and salt and soak for two hours.
2. Cut the leeks into 5cm sections and set aside.
3. Heat a little oil in the bottom of the pot, add about 10 whole Sichuan peppercorns, and sauté the whole red pepper until fragrant. Then add the drained tofu and stir-fry for about 1 minute. Add the leeks and stir-fry for 30 seconds. , then remove from the pan and plate.
