Red dates, wolfberry and pigeon soup
Ingredients
- Squab 2
- Ginger 4~5 slices
- Red dates 10 capsules
- Wolfberry 1 small handful
Steps
1. Prepare the required materials. Squabs are stuffy and have no bleeding, so the meat is red
2. Boil half a pot of water, turn the water to medium-low heat, add the pigeons and blanch them for 2 and 3 minutes, which will help to clean up the small fluff
3. Blanch the squab and rinse it with running water
4. Soak the wolfberries in water for 5 minutes and take them out
5. Soak the red dates in the same water and wash them
6. Cut the red dates in half, remove the core and set aside
7. Cut the pigeon into 2 halves again. There are 4 people in my family, and half a pigeon is just right for each person
8. Place the soup in the middle
9. Add ginger slices and wolfberry
10. Add red dates
11. Pour in about 1.5L of mineral water
12. Put it in the steamer and steam for 1 and a half to 2 hours
13. When you open the lid of the pot, it smells so good
14. Serve in bowls and enjoy while hot! The soup is very sweet and delicious!
