Rice cake salad
Ingredients
- Rice 150g
- Cherry tomatoes 11 pcs
- Lettuce 0.5 pieces
- Olive oil 15g
- Salad dressing 2 spoons
- Black sesame 10g
Steps
1. Prepare ingredients: rice, cherry tomatoes, lettuce;
2. Wash the rice, put it into the rice cooker, and add an appropriate amount of water; the water should cover the rice by 2 centimeters; when cooking the rice, pour an appropriate amount of vegetable oil into the rice. More fragrant and more lustrous;
3. Wash the cherry tomatoes and lettuce, soak them in cold boiled water for a while, and drain the water;
4. Chop cherry tomatoes and lettuce;
5. Add salad dressing and stir evenly;
6. Take out the cooked rice and let it dry until it is no longer hot;
7. Put the rice into a food bag and knead it into a ball;
8. Then roll the rice ball into slices through the food bag, tear off the food bag on the surface, and cut the flaked rice into evenly sized rectangles with a knife;
9. Prepare a clean container, apply an appropriate amount of olive oil, and sprinkle with black sesame seeds; the olive oil can prevent the rice cakes from sticking together;
10. Put the rice cakes in and dip them evenly in black sesame seeds;
11. Put the rice cakes into the pan and turn on medium-low heat;
12. After observing that the surface of the rice cake is browned, turn off the heat; if you like a crispier and harder texture, you can fry it for a while;
13. Place the fried rice cakes on top with cherry tomatoes and lettuce salad.
Tips
- 1. When cooking rice, you can pour an appropriate amount of vegetable oil into the rice to make the cooked rice more fragrant and shiny;
- 2. If you like the rice cakes crispy and harder, you can extend the frying time appropriately;
- 3. Olive oil can be replaced by corn oil or sunflower oil;
