Spiced Peanuts
Peanuts 300g | Star anise Several |
Salt 2 scoops | sugar 2 scoops |
Soy sauce 1 tablespoon | Cinnamon 1 small block |
Fragrant leaves Two or three tablets | Clear water 1 large cup |
Pepper powder 2 scoops |
Step 1
Rinse raw peanuts with water and drain.Step 2
Pour all ingredients into a microwave-safe bowl or Tupperware container.Step 3
Mix the seasonings thoroughly, add 1 large cup of water, and cover with a lid (the lid should have ventilation holes, or just use a loose lid like me)Step 4
Place in the microwave and heat on high for 2 minutes. This allows the salt and sugar in the seasoning to fully melt.Step 5
Take out the heated condiment box from the microwave, open the lid, and pour raw peanuts into it (be careful of the heat scalding your hands), so that the surface of the liquid is just immersed in the peanuts.Step 6
Cover again, place in the microwave, and heat on high for 3 minutes. After heating, use a slotted spoon or sieve to remove the peanuts from the soup and drain the water.Step 7
Spread flatly on a large plate, place in the microwave, and heat on high for 2 minutes.Step 8
Remove from the microwave, turn the peanuts over with a spoon, then put them in the microwave and cook on high heat for three minutes. At this time, you will hear a small "cracking" sound from the microwave oven. That is the sound of the outer skin bursting. This sound means that it is almost done.Step 9
Finally, turn the peanuts over, heat them over high heat for 30 seconds, take them out and let them cool slightly, rub them with your hands, and the red coat will fall off very thin and crispy like the picture, and it's ready.Step 10
Rub off the outer skin and eat.Step 11
