Sugar Roasted Chestnuts
Ingredients
- Chestnut: 2 pounds
- White sugar: 2 spoons
- Cooking oil: 3 tablespoons
- Warm water: appropriate amount
Steps
1. Buy chestnuts and rinse them with water.
2. Wipe dry with paper towels.
3. With the protruding side of the chestnut facing up, pat it with a knife and it will crack.
4. After it is fully opened, add an appropriate amount of cooking oil.
5. Shake the pot a few times to coat the chestnuts evenly with oil.
6. Line the baking sheet with tin foil.
7. Pour the chestnuts into the baking pan.
8. Place the chestnuts with the crack side facing up so that they are easier to roast.
9. Heat the oven to 190 degrees, preheat it for 5 minutes, put it in the baking pan, and bake it for 20 minutes.
10. Melt 2 tablespoons of sugar with warm water into sugar water.
11. Roast the chestnuts for 20 minutes, take them out and brush them evenly with sugar water.
12. Apply oil again.
13. Continue to bake for 10 minutes.
14. Roasted chestnuts are shiny, sweet and delicious.
