Two-color purple sweet potato buns
Ingredients
- All-purpose flour (plain flour) 350g
- Purple sweet potato 100g
- Yeast 5g
- Warm water Appropriate amount
Steps
1. Steam 100g of purple sweet potato and press it with a spoon until it becomes puree
2. Purple sweet potato dough: 150g flour + 100g purple sweet potato puree + 3g yeast + appropriate amount of warm water to form a smooth dough with moderate hardness. White dough: 200g flour + 2g yeast + appropriate amount of warm water and knead into a smooth dough with moderate hardness
3. Cover with plastic wrap and ferment at room temperature until 2 times in size, without shrinking! Now the room temperature is relatively high in summer and fermentation is fast
4. Take out the dough and knead it into smooth dough
5. Divide the purple and white dough into two equal portions, and roll them into equal pieces, preferably about the same thickness
6. Overlap each other
7. Roll them up separately. I rolled them in two colors (baby will like them more if they have more designs)
8. Use a sharp knife to cut into equal rolls, cover with plastic wrap and ferment for 15-20 minutes
9. Fill the steam boiler water box with pure water, cover it with a round lid, and push it parallel to the bottom of the body
10. Put the two-color roll in and put it on the metal rack
11. Select 8 steamed buns from the menu, tap to start the countdown starting at 17 minutes, if it is steamed pork buns, you canPress the - and + keys of the time to increase or decrease the time
12. Close the steam oven door and wait for the delicious rolls
13. Wow, the chubby two-color purple potato rolls are so appetizing
Tips
- 1: It is best to use warm water when making dough. Once the dough is fermented, there will be no problem! 2: Put pure water in the water box of the steam furnace. 3: If you like sweet steamed buns, you can add an appropriate amount of sugar!
