Wuhan snacks: glutinous rice wrapped fried dough sticks
Ingredients
- Glutinous rice 200 grams
- White sugar 20 grams
- Peanuts 100g
- White sesame seeds 80g
- Black sesame seeds Appropriate amount
- Seaweed A little
- Fried dough sticks part
- Wheat flour 250g
- Baking soda 2 grams
- Baking powder 2 grams
- Egg 2 grams
- Salt 4 grams
- Water 120g
- Edible oil 10g
Steps
1. Wash the glutinous rice, soak it for one hour, drain the water, and steam it for half an hour until cooked.
2. Add peanuts and white sesame seeds to a pan and stir-fry over low heat until fragrant, until golden brown, then take out and cool.
3. Use a food processor to beat the cooled peanuts and white sesame seeds into a coarse powder, add white sugar and stir evenly, set aside.
4. Mix all the ingredients for making fried dough sticks into a dough and let it rest at room temperature for 40 minutes or put it in the refrigerator overnight.
5. Use a rolling pin to roll the rested dough into a 1 cm thick dough.
6. Cut the dough into 2 cm wide pieces.
7. Stack the cut dough together two by two, take a chopstick, press it in the middle, and pinch both ends with your hands.
8. Heat the oil pan, put the shaped dough sticks into the oil pan and fry until the dough sticks are fluffy and golden brown, remove and drain the oil and set aside.
9. After the glutinous rice is steamed, use it while it is hot.
10. Place a piece of oil paper on the silicone mat and sprinkle black sesame seeds evenly.
11. Prepare a bowl of cold boiled boiled water. Dip the boiled boiled boiled water with a spoon, scoop out the glutinous rice, and spread it flatly on oil paper sprinkled with black sesame seeds. A spoon dipped in cold boiled water can effectively prevent adhesion.
12. Sprinkle the powdered peanut powder evenly on the glutinous rice.

17. When eating at home, you can directly remove the oil paper and decorate with a little seaweed.
Tips
- You can add an appropriate amount of other rice to the glutinous rice. If it is all glutinous rice, it may be too sticky, greasy, and difficult to digest;
- This is sweet. If you like salty food, just replace the sugar with sour and spicy ingredients. We recommend pickles and shredded potatoes. Spicy with chili powder.
