# Salty Flavor #Northeast Bean Stewed Pumpkin
Ingredients
- Pumpkin 150g
- Northeast oil beans 500g
- Ginger and garlic A little
- Onion 1 root
- Anise 1 piece
- Cinnamon 1 small piece
- Salt According to personal taste
- Light soy sauce 1 spoon
- Dark soy sauce Half spoon
- Chicken powder 1 small spoon
Steps
1. First peel the pumpkin.
2. Remove the pulp from the pumpkin, (you can use a small spoon to scoop out the pumpkin seeds) and rinse with cold water.
3. Drain the washed pumpkin, cut into diamond-shaped pieces, and put it into a plate for later use.
4. Northeastern fried beans are generally unknown to southerners. I personally love them so much that I don’t need to eat them because the skin of the fried beans is very thin and the beans inside are particularly plump. I feel very full after eating. (Because these beans were brought back from the north, they traveled a long way. When they came back, they had to remove the roots and tips, blanch them, put them in cold water, take them out and drain them, put them in a food bag after they cooled, and put them in the refrigerator. Room, take out a pack in advance before eating, and defrost naturally, just like fresh beans)
5. Peel and cut the onions, ginger and garlic.
6. Heat the pan with cold oil, stir-fry the spices until fragrant.
7. After frying until fragrant, add the beans.
8. Add a spoonful of light soy sauce, bring to a boil over high heat, and turn to medium heat for 15 minutes.
9. Add the cut pumpkin into the pot, continue to boil, and turn to low heat for about 8 minutes. (As long as the pumpkin is ripe)
10. Add a little dark soy sauce. (You can skip dark soy sauce according to personal preference)
11. Add salt, (add the amount of salt according to personal taste.) Use a shovel to stir slightly and turn off the heat.
12. Turn off the heat and add chicken powder, stir-fry evenly.
13. Put it into a pot and sprinkle with chopped green onion. An extremely delicious hometown specialty dish.
Tips
- 1. If you like chili peppers, you can add some chili peppers.
- 2. You can also add some pork ribs or pork belly to this dish.
- 3. Cook the beans for 6-7 to mature before adding the pumpkin, because the pumpkin is easier to ripen.
