Authentic tea eggs
Ingredients
- Eggs 16
- Star anise 3 pcs
- Fragrance leaves 5 pieces
- Zanthoxylum bungeanum 1 handful
- Tea 1 pack
- Salt 3 spoons
- Sugar 5 spoons
- Cooking wine 5 spoons
- Ginger 4 slices
- Light soy sauce 8 spoons
- Oyster sauce 8 spoons
Steps
1. Buy eggs.
2. Rinse in water.
3. Prepare star anise, bay leaves and Sichuan peppercorns.
4. Pour 1 basin of water into the pot and add the above spices.
5. Add 8 tablespoons of oyster sauce.
6. Pour in 8 spoons of light soy sauce.
7. Slice the ginger and add it.
