Fancy Pasta-Firecracker Pig
Ingredients
- Flour 500g
- Yeast 5g
- White sugar 5g
- Red yeast rice flour 3g
Steps
1. Pour yeast and sugar into appropriate amount of warm water
2. Stir evenly
3. Add and knead into cotton wadding
4. Knead the dough again and let it rise in a warm place until it doubles in size
5. Wake up well
6. Knead and release air
7. Divide into two
8. Take one piece of dough and pour red yeast rice flour
9. Knead evenly
10. Shape into long strips
11. Divide into small pieces
12. Arrange a group of eight roots as shown in the picture
13. Press with chopsticks
14. Then roll a thinner strip to make the core of the firecracker
15. Dip some water in the middle
16. Glue the thin strips
17. Knead the dough into a round shape
18. Use a decorating tip to press out the pig’s nose
19. As shown in the picture
20. Poke your nostrils with chopsticks
21. Cut into long noodles
22. Divide into small squares
23. Diagonal cut
24. Pinch the two corners together
25. Dip some water and stick it to the pig's head
26. Add black sesame seeds to make eyes
27. Wake up for 20 minutes in sequence
28. Put cold water in a steamer, boil it and steam for 15 minutes
29. Turn off the heat and steam for 3 minutes before serving
Tips
- When making fancy pasta, the noodles should be hard and easy to shape.
