Hibiscus noodle soup
Ingredients
- Chicken breast 50g
- Plain flour 20g
- Carrot 20g
- Spinach 20g
- Eggs 1
Steps
1. Add cold water to the chicken breast and cook for about 6 minutes after the water boils. Skim off the foam during this period. Be careful not to wait until the water boils before adding the chicken breasts, otherwise the blood will not be easily drained out.
2. Let cool and tear into strips. Do not slice or dice the chicken breasts before cooking, cook them in one piece. Otherwise, most of the meat will become old and it will be difficult to tear.
3. Chop the chicken into strips. Because it is used as complementary food, I chopped the chicken here. Even babies without teeth can crush it with their gums more easily and eat it. Older babies can cut less carefully or dry
4. Cut the carrots into shreds. If it's troublesome or your baby can't handle shredded carrots well, you can also grate the carrots.
5. Blanch the spinach. Blanch the roots first, then the young leaves.
6. Cut off the head and finely chop the spinach.
7. Crack an egg into a mixing bowl, add 20g of plain flour, and mix into a particle-free and flowable batter. I used medium sized eggs (around 50g). For babies who are allergic to egg white, you can only use it here
8. In order to make fine noodle threads, make sure the batter is thick and fluid. It is better to lift the chopsticks so that the batter can drip quickly (see the video for the status). If you find that the batter fluidity is too poor, add a little more egg liquid
9. Pour the batter into a container with a small mouth so that the batter can flow out evenly when pouring.
10. Boil a pot of water. When the water boils, add shredded carrots and cook for about 1 minute. If it is carrot puree, the cooking time can be shorter.
11. Turn to medium heat and gently pour the batter into the container containing the batter, making consistent movements and finishing in one go. After entering the water, the batter will quickly form thin noodle lines. Continue cooking for 4 minutes until cooked through. When pouring, you can slowly
12. Finally add the minced chicken and chopped spinach, cook for about 2 minutes and then turn off the heat. For babies over 1 year old, you can add a little salt to taste as appropriate.
13. Complete~
Tips
- The preparation of this noodle soup is very simple. Mix egg liquid with flour to make extremely thin and smooth noodles. It is nutritious, delicious and special. It is easy to digest and absorb, and can be eaten by babies with poor gastrointestinal problems and poor appetite.
- Babies who have just started to add complementary foods are not yet able to chew and digest noodles well. This noodle dish can be used as a transition for babies without teeth. You can also easily use the power of your tongue and gums to mash the noodles and eat them.
