String sausage pasta
Ingredients
- Ham sausage 4 pieces
- Slender straight pasta About 100 pieces
- Olive oil 1 tablespoon
- Onion Half
- Garlic 1 clove
- Tomato paste 1.5-2 tablespoons
- Clear water 1 cup
- Sugar 1 teaspoon
- Salt
- Freshly ground coarse black pepper 1 pinch
- Dried chopped parsley 1 pinch
Steps
1. Cut each ham sausage into 4 equal length pieces and set aside.
2. Take a small piece of ham sausage and insert the dry pasta through the middle. Thread 5-6 pieces of pasta through each section of ham sausage.
3. Thread all the ham sausages. Boil a pot of hot water and cook the pasta.
4. While the pasta is cooking, prepare the sauce: Peel and dice the onion and garlic.
5. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in the pot, add diced onions and garlic and sauté until fragrant.
6. Add tomato paste and stir-fry evenly. Tomato paste is something like concentrated tomato puree.
7. Add water and bring to a boil over high heat. Add salt and sugar to taste and remove from heat.
8. After the sauce is cooked, the pasta should also be cooked. Take out the cooked pasta and drain.
9. Mix the pasta and sauce evenly and serve on a plate. Sprinkle a little freshly ground black pepper and dried parsley on top.
