After cleaning the ribs, add cold water to the pot, then add a few slices of ginger and 1 spoon of cooking wine, bring to a boil over high heat, remove the ribs and set aside.Step 3
Clean the winter melon, remove the pulp, and cut into pieces for later use. (Leave the winter melon peel on to have a stronger effect of clearing away heat and diluting water, and will not boil the winter melon into pieces.)Step 4
