Donkey Meat Siomai
Ingredients
- Donkey meat 500g
- Flour 500g
- Onion Two stalks
- Ginger A few slices
- Zanthoxylum bungeanum Appropriate amount
- Salt, sugar Appropriate amount
- Braised soy sauce Appropriate amount
- Seafood soy sauce Appropriate amount
- Sesame oil Appropriate amount
- Soybean oil Half a bowl
Steps
1. Wash the donkey meat and set aside
2. Chop the meat filling (as shown in the picture)
3. The minced meat is ready
4. Chop green onionsCrush the minced ginger and add it to the meat filling.
5. Add half a bowl of cold water
6. Stir clockwise (as shown in the picture)
7. Heat the oil pan, boil the soybean oil (half a bowl of soybean oil), and add more oil to the filling.
8. Add salt, sugar, pepper noodles, braised soy sauce and seafood soy sauce, add boiled soybean oil and stir evenly.
9. Chop carrots
10. Add to the meat filling
11. Stir clockwise until evenly mixed meat filling is obtained.
12. Boil the noodles with boiling water, stir while adding (forgot to take pictures), and mix the noodles.
13. Pull out the noodles and squeeze them into the dumplings (as shown in the picture). Just make the dumplings a little bigger than the ones you usually use to make dumplings, but not too big.
14. Press the dough (as shown in the picture)
15. Make dumpling wrappers (pictured)
16. Start making siomai (it’s my first time to learn to make it, it’s not very beautiful), it’s similar to making steamed buns. (As shown in the picture)
17. Wrap them in order
18. Put it in a cold pot and grease the steamer.
19. Turn on high heat, boil the pot, then turn off medium heat and steam for 20 minutes.
20. The time is up, steaming is done, not bad.
