Eat tofu ~ steamed tofu with minced meat
Ingredients
- Laodoufu 500g
- Pork 400g
- Carrot A quarter of one
- Celery Half plant
- Fresh corn kernels 50 kernels
- Light soy sauce A spoonful
- Salt Appropriate amount
- White sugar A small spoon
- Onion and ginger A little
- Oil Appropriate amount
- Peppercorns A few
Steps
1. Prepare the main ingredients
2. Use a mace knife to cut the tofu into four equal-sized pieces.
3. Divide each portion of tofu into two equal parts, and divide them into eight pieces of tofu.
4. Poke some small holes in each piece of tofu with a toothpick, sprinkle a little salt on the tofu, let it sit for ten minutes, and pour out the water that seeps out.
5. Wash the meat and chop into mince.
6. Put the minced meat into a bowl, and then add the minced onion and ginger
7. Then add a spoonful of olive oil
8. Add an appropriate amount of salt and sugar, a spoonful of light soy sauce, stir evenly, and marinate for ten minutes.
9. Use a small spoon to place the marinated meat filling on a kitchen knife and press it into a tofu shape.
10. Then gently spread it on top of the tofu.
11. All tofu is topped with meat filling.
12. Then put corn kernels on the meat filling, sprinkle with minced celery and carrots, put it in a steamer, and steam over high heat for 7 or 8 minutes.
13. Remove from the pot and pour away the excess soup from the steamed tofu in the plate.
14. Heat the oil in the pot, add a few peppercorns and stir-fry until fragrant, take out the peppercorns and discard them.
15. Pour hot oil from Sichuan peppercorns over the minced tofu and minced meat.

Tips
- If you don’t likeIf you like the flavor of Sichuan peppercorns, you can also saute it with minced garlic.
- You can choose soft tofu, but I prefer old tofu.
- You can adjust the seasoning according to your own taste. If you like spicy food, you can also add chili sauce.
