Hawthorn ball
Ingredients
- Hawthorn 700g
- Rock sugar 200g
- White sugar 100g
Steps
1. Peel the hawthorn and clean it. There are hawthorn corers available online, which are very convenient. You can also use the pen holder of a roller coaster or chopsticks, so everyone can do their best!
2. Gently squeeze the washed hawthorns with your hands, crush some, put them into a pot, add water that has not covered the hawthorns, bring to a boil over high heat, and cook for 10 minutes, then turn off the heat.
3. Pour the cooked hawthorn into the wall-breaking machine. You don’t need to pour all the water for cooking the hawthorn. The amount of water in the wall-breaking machine is equal to the hawthorn. If you add too much water, the water will be poured in later. The frying time will be longer. Activate the inching function and beat the hawthorn into a paste.
4. Pour the beaten hawthorn paste into the pot, add rock sugar and white sugar. Stir fry over low heat. It's best to use a non-stick pan.
5. Keep frying until you lift the spatula and the hawthorn paste forms an inverted triangle when it drips. At this time, it is the hawthorn sauce.
6. Continue to stir-fry until you lift the spatula and the hawthorn paste drips slowly and falls piece by piece. At this level, you can make hawthorn cake.
7. Continue to stir-fry until the hawthorn paste does not drip when you lift the spatula. At this time you can turn off the fire.
8. Place warm hawthorn and stir evenly. Put on gloves, roll the hawthorn paste into hawthorn balls, and roll in a layer of white sugar. It must be granular white sugar, not soft white sugar!
9. Place the prepared hawthorn balls in a cool place or in a sealed jar. If there are no additives, try to eat them as soon as possible.
10. Sweet and sour, appetizing!
11. Healthy snacks!
12. No additives, you can eat with confidence!
