Homemade hawthorn rolls
Ingredients
- Fresh hawthorn 500g
- Rock sugar or white sugar 250 grams
- Lemon Half
- Water Appropriate amount
Steps
1. Take an empty bowl and squeeze in lemon juice. Wash the fresh hawthorns and use a knife to dig out the pedicles and handles. Then cut them in half crosswise, scoop out the seeds and place them in a place with lemon juice. In a bowl, prevent oxidation.
2. Put the processed hawthorn into a food processor and add an appropriate amount of water to make a puree. Add the amount of water until the hawthorn can be beaten, but not too much water.
3. Take a microwave-safe bowl, pour in the hawthorn puree, add rock sugar, mix well, heat in the microwave for 3 to 5 minutes, take out and flip once with a spatula, repeat this five or six times until the hawthorn puree is very sticky< /p>
4. Cover a baking sheet with a layer of plastic wrap and use a spatula to spread the hawthorn sauce evenly. Let it air dry naturally or put it in the oven at 80 degrees for 15 minutes
5. After baking, remove the plastic wrap, cut into several pieces, roll them up and wrap them in plastic wrap, or put them into an oiled plastic box and cool them into hawthorn cakes
6. Tear off the plastic wrap and the bright hawthorn rolls are ready to eat. Put them in the refrigerator to keep them fresh and taste better
