Mei Ling Porridge
Ingredients
- Glutinous rice 50 grams
- Japonica rice 20 grams
- Yam 200 grams
- Soybeans 100g
- Rock sugar Appropriate amount
Steps
1. Prepare the necessary ingredients.
2. Wash the soybeans, add water and soak in the refrigerator overnight.
3. Add japonica rice to glutinous rice and mix.
4. Wash the rice three times, add water and soak for more than three hours.
5. Wash the skin of yam and put it in a steamer to steam until cooked.
6. Let the steamed yam warm and peel.
7. Use a spoon to crush into small pieces.
8. Press all the yams and set aside.
9. Put the soaked soybeans into a food processor or soymilk machine and beat into soymilk.
10. Filter the beaten soy milk through a mesh sieve to remove the bean dregs.
11. Pour the filtered soy milk into a casserole and bring to a boil.
12. Drain the soaked rice, pour in the boiled soy milk, and simmer over low heat for half an hour; add the pressed yam and continue to simmer over low heat.
13. Cook all the ingredients until soft and glutinous, and the porridge is thick. Add rock sugar and turn off the heat.
