Pumpkin Millet Porridge
Ingredients
- Pumpkin 165g
- Xiaomi 50g
- Pearl rice 20g
- Rock sugar 25g
Steps
1. Prepare materials
2. Wash and drain the pearl rice
3. Wash the millet and drain the water
4. Put the two kinds of rice together and put them in the refrigerator for 30 minutes
5. Cut the pumpkin into small pieces
6. Add water to the rice cooker (for 2 people)
7. Press the porridge/soup function
8. After the water boils, add rice
9. If you like the pumpkin to be cooked badly, you can put it in together with the rice. If you like a little texture, you can add the pumpkin when the remaining 45 minutes of cooking time
10. Children like rotten ones, so I put pumpkin and rice in from the beginning
11. When there are 15 minutes left to cook the porridge, add rock sugar
12. When the time to cook the porridge is up, you can eat it.
Tips
- Put the rice in the freezer for 30 minutes. In order to make the rice softer, if you don’t use a rice cooker and use a clay pot to cook it over an open fire, freeze it. Rice cooks quickly.
