Green onion Appropriate amount | Chopsticks One pair |
Step 1
Clean the fish and make a cut at the belly and tail of the fish (you can steam it without cutting the whole piece)Step 2
Use 2 chopsticks to hold the fish up. Boil water in a pot and steam it for 13-15 minutes. The time depends on the size of the fish. I steam fish without ginger. The fish is relatively fresh, so use it with ginger. Steaming ginger will cover up the fresh flavor of the fish. If steaming freshwater fish, steam it with ginger because freshwater fish has a stronger fishy smell.Step 3
After steaming, remove the chopsticks.Pour away the fish sauce, add soy sauce, and top with sliced ginger and green onions.Step 4
Pour an appropriate amount of oil into the pot and heat it. After it is hot, pour it directly on the onion, ginger and fish noodles. You will hear a chirping sound. Be careful when pouring it and don't burn it.Step 5
