Steamed Tofu with Morels
Ingredients
- Morels 4 pcs
- Tofu 1 box
- Yao Zhu (vegetarians can skip it) 6 capsules
- Ginger A little
- Salt A little
- Starch A little
Steps
1. Prepare fresh ingredients.
2. Soak the fresh morels in water and gently wash them to remove the sand and debris on the surface of the morels.
3. Wash the scallops once and soak them in a little warm water until soft.
4. Drain the water from the morels and cut both sides.
5. Cut the tofu into thick slices and place them on the bottom of the dish, place the morels on top, place the scallops on the side, and put the shredded ginger on top.
6. Boil water in a steamer over high heat, put it in and steam for 5 minutes.
7. Take out the pot.
8. Press the tofu with chopsticks and pour the soup into the pot. (Wear thermal gloves and be careful not to burn your hands)
9. Bring to a boil over low heat, add salt to taste, and thicken with starch.
10. Pour the soup back onto the morels.
11. Morels are extremely delicious. The fungus flavor penetrates into the tender tofu, with a hint of seafood flavor from the scallops, a fresh taste!
Tips
- It can be eaten without the scallops, and can be eaten by vegetarians.
