Tomato and tofu soup
Ingredients
- Tomatoes 2 pcs
- Silky tofu 380g
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Edible oil Appropriate amount
- Salt Appropriate amount
- Sugar Appropriate amount
- Chicken essence Appropriate amount
Steps
1. Rinse the soft tofu.
2. Cut into small pieces.
3. Put it into a deeper bowl and add a little salt.
4. Add warm water and soak for about 10 minutes.
5. Make a cross on the top of the tomatoes, blanch them in boiling water and peel them.
6. Cut into small pieces.
7. Chop the garlic.
8. Pour an appropriate amount of cooking oil into the wok and heat it up, add garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.
9. Put in tomatoes.
10. Stir-fry until the juice becomes a paste.
11. Add boiling water and salt.
12. Add sugar to taste.
13. Add the soft tofu and stir evenly.
14. Turn to medium-low heat and simmer for about 10 minutes to allow the tofu to fully absorb the flavor.
15. Add chicken essence to increase the taste.
16. Sprinkle some coriander or chopped green onion and serve.
17. Both rice and soup are delicious.
