Different pasta ~ Santa Claus steamed buns
Ingredients
- All-purpose flour 100g
- Milk 50g
- White sugar 5g
- Yeast powder 2g
- Monascus powder 2g
- Black beans 4 pcs
Steps
1. Prepare the ingredients and weigh them!
2. Add milk to the bread bucket, then add sugar.
3. Add all-purpose flour and yeast powder! Put the bucket into the machine and start the bread machine to enter the dough mixing stage.
4. Divide the mixed dough into two pieces, one big and one small! 5
5. Add the red yeast powder to the small piece of dough and continue to put it in the bread machine to start the dough mixing process.
6. Take out the mixed dough from the bread machine and roll it into a round shape. Put the two pieces of dough into the Midea steam oven for fermentation. (Take out the water box of the steamer, fill it with pure water, then put the water box into the machine and push it back to its original position.bit)
7. Select the constant temperature fermentation function, the automatic time is 40°, 40 minutes! (Constant temperature fermentation function and spray fermentation can ensure the humidity of the dough! It’s great! It’s really a good helper for baking in winter!
8. The dough structure after proofing is in a honeycomb state. Exhaust the dough and knead it into a round shape.
9. Divide the white dough into 3 parts, use two parts to make the face and beard, and use long strips to make the brim and small balls on the tip of the hat!
10. Start making Santa Claus’ head. Take a piece of white dough and knead it into an oval shape that is narrow at the top and wide at the bottom. Set it aside for later use!
11. To start making the Santa Claus hat, take a piece of red dough and roll it into a thin oval shape, and cut off the excess with a knife. As pictured!
12. Put Santa hat on the white dough! Fold the tip of the hat up, as shown in the picture!
13. Place the rolled strip between the hat and forehead to make the brim, and cut off the excess dough with a knife.
14. Place the prepared white ball on the top of the hat, take a little red dough to make a small ball to decorate Santa's nose, and use two black beans to make eyes! As shown in the picture
15. Take another piece of dough and knead it into a round shape. Roll it into an oval shape and fold it in half. Do not fold it too neatly, as shown in the picture
16. Cut the beard with a knife, as shown in the picture!
17. Place the finished beard under the face and tidy up the beard. Santa Claus is ready!
18. Place the finished Santa Claus on the baking sheet and put it into the middle layer of the steam oven. (I made two for this amount, one big and one small. You can also make one! You can make it according to your own needs. Decide if you like! )
19. Start the fresh and pure steaming function of the Midea steam oven to steam at 100° for 15 minutes! After the steaming oven is finished, let it simmer for 5 minutes before opening the door! (I use Midea X6-348E micro-steaming and baking all-in-one electric steamer)
20. After steaming, it comes out of the pot~beautiful!
