Sauce-flavored beer duck
Ingredients
- Duck legs 4 pieces
- Beer A can
- Pixian Doubanjiang 20g
- Oil Appropriate amount
- Dried chili 4 pcs
- Eight anise 2 pcs
- Fragrance leaves 3 pieces
- Garlic 8 cloves
- Light soy sauce 10g
- 老草 3g
- Rock sugar 10g
- Ginger 10g
- Salt 1g
Steps
1. Prepare the main ingredients: duck legs and beer
2. Accessories: Pixian bean paste, rock sugar, ginger slices, dried chili peppers, star anise, bay leaves
3. Wash the duck legs and chop into small pieces
4. Pour appropriate amount of oil into the pot, heat until 50% hot, add duck pieces and stir-fry
5. Stir-fry the duck until the water is dry, add chili, ginger slices, star anise and bay leaves and stir-fry until fragrant.
6. Set the duck aside, add Pixian bean paste and fry until the red oil appears
7. After the bean paste is fried, stir-fry it together with the duck
8. Add salt, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce and rock sugar and stir-fry for a while
9. Pour in beer, cover the pot, and simmer over medium-low heat for 20 minutes
10. When the soup is almost cooked, add garlic and continue to cook for 10 minutes
11. Finally, stir-fry over high heat to reduce the juice, then serve out and garnish with some coriander

- 1. Because duck legs have more lean meat, I chose duck legs
- 2. Add garlic last so it won’t burn
